GLORIOUS EDINBURGH

Did you know you can Follow my blog with Bloglovin?

I’ve been to Edinburgh a couple of times (both trips were to friend’s weddings) and I was really impressed.

It is a beautiful city, steeped in history, with lots of interesting things to see and quite a few good bars for the drinking.

The highlights for me were an open top bus tour around the City – seriously I always make a bus tour the first thing I do, whenever I go anywhere new.  I gives you a really good idea of where everything is and if you do run out of time to see all things that you want to in detail, the chances are you’ll have seen the best bits on the tour.

and The Real Mary King’s Close still ranks as one of the best tourist attractions I have ever seen (I haven’t got any pictures I’m afraid as I was using my crappy old camera, which does not do low light pictures). You can read all about it on their website. If you are planning a trip to Edinburgh, I would make this the first thing you see (it is also perfect for bad weather as it’s underground!)
